Green Ghost Punch – Final

Here’s the final inked and colored version of this rough from a few weeks ago. I opted for a duotone look for fun. I created flats in shades of green, then created a hue adjustment layer which I tweaked until I found the overall hue and saturation I wanted. Next, I “painted” in white on the mask layer to reveal the original colors for Green Ghost. Copying the color layer, I applied the color halftone filter and offset it slightly while lowering the opacity. I overlayed a few textures playing around with the blending modes and stacking order in the layers palette to get the results I wanted–a retro, pulpy, water-damaged comic page.
